Indonesia Lolos ke Perempatfinal Piala Asia U-19
Jakarta – Pelatih Indonesia, Indra Sjafri, mensyukuri kelolosan timnya ke perempatfinal Piala Asia U-19. Bagi Indra, hasil ini berkat kerja keras dan rida Allah SWT.
Indonesia dalam posisi terjepit usai kekalahan dari Qatar di laga kedua Grup A hari Minggu lalu. Dengan modal tiga poin dan duduk di posisi ketiga klasemen, Indonesia wajib mengalahkan Uni Emirat Arab di laga ketiga yang dihelat di SUGBK, Rabu (24/10/2018) malam WIB, terlepas apapun hasil Qatar versus Taiwan.
Babak pertama dijalani Indonesia dengan mulus ketika mereka unggul 1-0 lewat gol Witan Sulaeman di menit ke-24. Namun, ujian baru datang di babak ketika UEA lebih keluar menyerang untuk menyamakan skor. Apalagi Indonesia juga harus bermain dengan 10 orang setelah kapten Nurhidayat mendapat dua kartu kuning.
Tapi, Indonesia mampu mempertahankan keunggulan itu dan membuat UEA frustrasi untuk akhirnya merayakan kelolosannya di akhir pertandingan. Indonesia berhak menemani Qatar yang lolos sebagai juara grup dengan enam poin. Poin ketiga tim teratas sama, tapi Qatar dan Indonesia unggul produktivitas dari UEA dalam klasemen kecil.
Usai pertandingan, Indra tak bisa menyembunyikan rasa gembiranya dengan kelolosan ini. Perjuangan keras di laga ini diharapkan Indra bisa memotivasi anak asuhnya untuk bermain lebih baik dan spartan di laga perempatfinal.
Pasalnya lawan Indonesia di babak selanjutnya kemungkinan besar adalah juara bertahan Jepang yang kini memimpin klasemen Grup B dengan enam poin.
“Kerja keras yang luar biasa dari para pemain dan rahmat Allah SWT memberikan kemenangan penting untuk kita,” ujar Indra dalam jumpa pers.
“Ini akan membuat pemain termotivasi main di babak perempatfinal. Syukur Alhamdulillah. Walaupun, kita sempat bermain dengan 10 pemain, selama lebih dari 30 menit, Alhamdulillah semua kita lewati dengan baik,” sambungnya.
